Baldwin 5399.K Full-Dummy Handleset Repair Kit — Inside Knob or Lever

The Baldwin 5399.K repair kit is for a fixed full-dummy Baldwin Estate handleset with a knob or lever on the inside.

Use this kit when the handleset is matching trim on a door that does not operate a latch. It is not the correct kit for an active entry door.

Confirm this is the right kit

• The door is fixed or inactive.
• The handleset does not retract a latch.
• The inside trim may be either a knob or a lever.

If the door operates a latch, use Baldwin 5399.G for an inside knob or Baldwin 5399.H for an inside lever. If turning the inside trim also releases a locked deadbolt, use 5399.M for a knob or 5399.N for a lever.

Choose the finish

Choose the Baldwin finish that matches your existing hardware. Older finishes may have aged or developed a patina, so a new replacement part may not look exactly the same at first.

This kit replaces the worn thumbpiece mechanism and related operating parts in a Baldwin Estate tubular handleset. Depending on what failed, you may use only some of the supplied parts.
