Replacement Mortise Lock Faceplate Screw
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is the short Phillips flat-head machine screw that fastens the faceplate to the edge of a mortise lock body. It threads into the lock body through the small countersunk hole at the top or bottom of the faceplate.
These screws commonly loosen and disappear during use or service, but they are difficult to find sold individually online. This is not a wood screw and it does not fasten the lock to the door.
Will this fit?
This screw fits most mortise lock faceplates regardless of brand. Use it when one of the short screws holding the metal faceplate directly to the lock body is missing. Compare the Phillips head, machine threads, and approximately 1/4-inch length with the remaining screw.
Common compatible brands include Emtek, Baldwin, Accurate Lock & Hardware, Rocky Mountain Hardware, Sun Valley Bronze, Ashley Norton, and Classic Brass.
