A 4" x 4" square-corner full-mortise ball-bearing hinge built for standard 1-3/4" thick exterior doors. The ball bearings provide smoother movement and greater durability for heavy doors and frequent use.
The hinges are solid brass, with a concealed stainless steel pin. Available in 15 finishes to coordinate with your entry hardware.
How many hinges do I need?
Most standard 1-3/4" exterior doors use three 4" x 4" ball-bearing hinges. Tall, unusually heavy, or frequently used doors may require four. If you are unsure, send us the door height, width, thickness, and approximate weight. Classic Door will confirm the hinge before the order is finalized.
