What Size Screw Does My Emtek Hinge Need?

Emtek hinges use one of three screw sizes, depending on the hinge.

• #9 x 3/4" — fits 3-1/2" hinges
• #10 x 1" — fits 4" hinges
• #12 x 1-1/4" — fits 4-1/2", 5", and heavier-duty hinges

All three are flat head, Phillips drive. These match Emtek's own factory bulk screw packs.

Is the factory screw brass or steel?

Steel, plated to match the hinge finish. Classic Door also sells an individual solid-brass alternative in these sizes — that's an upgrade option, not a factory Emtek part, so check fit before installing.
