Does interlocking bronze weatherstripping stop drafts and rain?

Yes—when the door is fitted correctly and the metal is installed and adjusted properly, interlocking bronze weatherstripping can provide an excellent seal against air leakage and wind-driven rain.

The important point is that it works as a system: door alignment, side and head strips, the bottom J-hook, and the threshold all have to meet correctly.
