#8 Brass Wood Screw Predrill Kit

Predrill Kit for #8 brass wood screws.

Includes:

• 1× predrill bit sized for a #8 screw
• 1× driver tip sized for a #8 screw

Select Slotted or Phillips.

This is not a standard straight drill bit. It is shaped to match the tapered body of a wood screw, creating the correct pilot hole along the full length of the screw. This helps the screw install more easily and reduces the risk of splitting the wood or breaking the brass screw.

The adjustable countersink can recess the screw below the surface so it can be covered with a wooden plug. It can also be moved out of the way or removed when a countersink is not needed.
